Last Will and Testament of Hezekiah Dorsey
Georgia Jasper County 
June 5th, 1847

In the name of God Amen.  I Hezekiah Dorsey of said state and country, knowing 
that I must shortly depart from this world.  Deem it right and proper that I 
should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has 
blessed me.  I therefore make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking 
and annulling all others heretofore made by me.

Item. First.  I desire and direct that my body be buried at Providence in said 
county in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstances and 
condition.

Item. Second.  I desire and direct that all my debts be paid without delay by 
my executor hereafter named.

Item. Third.  I give and direct to my nephew who bears my name, my watch to be 
kept by Knox Fuller, till said nephew arrives at the age of 16.

Item. Fourth. I give and desire my new suit of clothes to my brother, Edmond 
Dorsey.

Item. Fifth.  I give & bequeath the remainder of my clothes to my relatives to 
be divided among them all.

Item. Sixth.  I give & desire to my nephews & nieces my real & personal estate 
consisting of land containing 202 1/2 acres No. Notes accounts & money to be 
equally divided among them all.

Item. Seventh.  I appoint and constitute my brother-in-law, Knox Fuller, 
executor to this my last will and testament.

Signed, Sealed, disclosed and published by Franklin George in the name and 
stead of Hezekiah Dorsey as his last will and Testament in the presents of us, 
the subsribers being present when this will and testament was made.
