The ceremony was said in an impressive manner by Rev. Joe Winburn, pastor of Hopewell church. The parlor was decorated with lights and similax and the bridal party stood under an arch banked with similax from which was suspended white wedding bells. The wedding march was rendered by Mrs. J. B. Spears. The bride wore a lovely suite of light blue messaline trimmed with laces and pearls, and carried a bouquet of white roses and ferns. Immediately after the ceremony, they drove to the home of the grooms parents, Mr and Mrs. Pierce Stone where an elegant dinner was served. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and is a young lady of many beautiful traits of character and has a wide circle of friends. The groom is (a) popular business man and has a host of admirers who congratulate him upon his good fortune.
