Will of Jumina Cunard 17 Sep 1872 Jasper County, GA State of Georgia, Jasper County I Jumina Cunard of the County and State aforesaid being in poor health but of a sound disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made. First I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executors hereinafter made and appointed. Second I desire and direct that my entire estate remain together until my youngest daughter Sarah Martha, shall become Eighteen years of age. Thirdly I give and bequeath to my beloved wife for and during her natural life only one Hundred acres of land including the dwelling and out buildings, Household and Kitchen furniture, One good Horse, Buggy and Harness, Cow and Calf and Stock Hogs. Fourthly After my above named daughter shall have arrived at the age of Eighteen years, I will that my entire estate consisting of land and stock of all kind be sold and equally divided between my hereinafter named children to wit: William H, Mary Ann Gilstrap, John Samuel, Rebecca Francis, Syntha Zippoah, Nancy Evaline, Lucius, Alford, and Sarah Martha. Fifthly I give and bequeath to my son John Samuel One good Horse Bridle and Saddle. Sixthly I give and bequeath to my son Lucius One sorrel Colt (the colt he claims as his) Seventhly The residue of my property, both real and personal whosoever and whatever it my be including that given to my wife Lucinda in the third Article of this Will for and during her natural life (after her estate therein is over) be sold by my Executors and equally divided between my above named children, Eighthly It is my will that my Executors have the exclusive right to dispose of any of my property at any time of they believe it would be to the advantage to the legatees of my Estate. Ninthly I nominate and appoint my son John Samuel, and my son in law John B. Gilstrap Executors to this my last will and testament. Gilstrap and John Samuel Cunard the Executors in Said Will name and having filed their petition to prove the Same in common form and also produced Jeremiah M. Gilstrap one of the Subscribing witnesses to the Same who being Sworn in open court says on oath that he saw Jeremiah Cunard sign and publish the above paper as his last will and testament - that at the time of so doing he was of sound disposing mind that he witnessed the same for him at his own request and in his presence and in the presence of Jack McLendon and James Benton who also signed at this request and in the presents of each other and in the presents of Said testator and that Said will was freely and voluntarily executed by the Said Jumina Cunard the day and date therein Stated.
