I appoint John Borum and Benjamin Borum my true and lawful executors 1st I leave my beloved wife Peggy Borum six Negroes namely Fielding a man Hank a man Nick a man Tom a man Milly & all women together with the tract of land whereon I now live containing two hundred and ten acres by estimation, with all my stock of cattle my blacksmith tools and my cart and oxens and hogs and all my plantation utensils together with five head of horses and five beds and furniture and all my household and kitchen furniture and all my present crop without reserve, during her life and after her death to be equally divided betwixt my sons John Borum and Benjamin Borum and my Grandson George Borum son of Flamsted Borum deceased 2nd I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Narcissa Borum five Negroes namely Nell a woman and four of her children namely Manurvy a girl Nathan a boy Davy a boy & James a boy together with two feather beds and furniture 3rd I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Martha Borum five Negroes namely Tednor a woman Emilla a girl Ned a boy Peter a boy and Amy a girl with two beds and furniture I have my son Nathaniel Borum all the demands which I have against him which is about six thousand dollars I wish my waggon and gear sold and all the demands which are due me collected and all my outstanding debts paid off so soon as practible Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed by name and affixed my seal this Eighth day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and twenty-three Witness his George Borum seal John X Green mark Thomas F Nolan Georgia }Court of Ordinary Jany Term 1824 Jasper County} Came into open court John Green and Thomas F Nolan the subscribing witnesses to the within will, who being duly sworn depose and say that they saw George Borum sign seal, publish and declare that this instrument of writing contained his true last will and testament, and at said time he was of sound disposing mind & memory – Sworn to & subscribed his in open court John X Green Jany 12th 1824 mark J.
