Item My will and desire is that all of the balance of my property or estate both real and personal to be sold after it is appraised within twelve months after my decease for small notes with approved security and the money arising from the same to be equally divided between my wife Milley Higginbotham and my children hereafter named Thomas Higginbotham, Jane Higginbotham, Samuel Higginbotham, Polly Higginbotham, Elizabeth Higginbotham, Judy Higginbotham, Sarah Higginbotham, Burriss Higginbotham, William Higginbotham, Robert Higginbotham, Peggy Higginbotham, Ephraim Brandel Higginbotham, two hundred and seventy five dollars to be deducted out of my son Samuels part that he has already had or received, also sixteen dollars to be deducted out of my daughter Polly's part which she has recd, also thirty four dollars to be deducted out of my son Roberts part, which he has already received also sixty dollars to be deducted out of my daughter Peggys part, which she has already received, also one hundred and forty dollars to be deducted out of my son Burriss part which he has already received, also one hundred and twenty five dollars to be deducted out of my son Thomas part, which he has already receied. Also seventy dollars to be deducted out of my son William Higginbotham. Item My will and desire is that Robert Kilgore, Tursey Pails (?), Joseph Kilgore, William K. Kilgore, Samuel Kilgore, Simeon W. Kilgore to be paid one dollar each out of my estate by my excutors of this my last will and testament. I do hereby appoint William Roby, Frederick Ward and Robert Higginbotham my Executors of my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, the date within written.
