Elizabeth Towns widow and relic of said John T. C. Towns dec’d, Jarrel O. Towns son of said John T. C. Towns dec’d of full age and John Randolph Towns and Mary Ann Towns minor children of John T. C. Towns dec’d, Jarrel O. Towns representing the minor children John Randolph Towns & Mary Ann Towns We proceeded to appraise the negroes belonging to the Estate of John T. C. Towns dec’d, and alloted them off according to the will of said John T. C. Towns dec’d to wit to Elizabeth Towns widow of John T. C. Towns dec’d & her seven children to wit Wm. B. Towns, Henry H. Towns, Habersham C. Towns, Cerogordo Towns, Beunavista Towns, Elizabeth P. Towns & Margaret J. Towns The following Negroes viz: 1 Peter- - $950 8 Henry--$800 14 John-- $1000 2 & 3 Ruth & her child-- 750 9 Jack-----1000 15 Ambros-1000 4 Perry---- 500 10 Martha-- 750 16 Tempa-- 300 5 Wesley-- 350 11 Elis-- 950 17 Simeon-- 600 6 Sarah-- 275 12 Nathan-- 700 18 Wade-- 400 7 Manerva-- 200 13 Eliza-- 800 19 Harriet-- 300 ----------- ---------- 20 Booker--- 250 $2925 $5000 --------- 3850 3850 2925 ------------ $11775 And four hundred dollars to be paid by Jarrel O. Towns John R. Towns and Mary Ann Towns to Elixabeth Towns and her seven minor children. And futher have alloted to Jarrel O. Towns the Negroes named to him in the Will to wit. Alvis $1000 Pug $550 Granville $275 Clary $750 Dilsy $475 $1025 -------- ------- $1750 $1750 $1025 --------- $3050 And in addition to the above named Negroes in the Mill; We also Alloted to J. O. Towns the Following Negroes to wit Lewis $800 And-------Dick 950 And Jarrel O. Towns is to pay the other Two Minors to wit John R. Towns and Mary Ann Towns $316.66 to each one And we have alloted to John R. Towns the following Negroes to wit Dock $900 Floyd $400 Guss $350 George $800 Priss $600 $1000 -------- -------- 1700 1700 1000 ---------- $3050 And in addition to the above named Negroes in the Mill: We also Aloted to John R. Towns $37.50 And to John R.
