J. Spear administrator of the Estate of Jesse Spear late of said County dec'd Shueth that it is impossible to discharge the indebtedness of said Estate without selling the Lands except such portions as may be set aside and assigned as Dower for the widow the application to which is now pending in the Superior Court of said County. He therefore prays an order granting him leave to sell said Lands which consists in all of one hundred and fifty more or less acres in said County fifty acres lying in the 12th District of originally Balwin now Jasper County known as the John Mitchell place, fifty acres in the 17th District of originally Baldwin now Jasper County being part of No 206 and the remaining fifty acres adjoining Lands of John Edwards Philps and others and in said County of Jasper. Jasper Court of Ordinary August term 1867 In appearing to the court due and legal Notice of the within application has been given as required by Law and that the facts setforth herein are true and no objections being read it is ordered that John A. J. Spear have leave to sell all the lands belonging to said Estate as prayed for to pay the debts of said Estate. Additional Comments: This land was apparantly not sold it remained with Isabel Spear, the widow until her death.
