                       Mr. Eschol Lonzie Bush
 Services for Mr. Eschol Lonzie Bush, 80, of Hazlehurst, were held Dec. 20 at 
Bible Baptist Church.
 The Rev. Steve Toler and the Rev. Billy Williams officiated with burial in 
Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
 Mr. Bush was born in Telfair County but had lived most of his life in Jeff 
Davis County. He was the son of the late Harvey Lonzie Bush and Maudie Lee 
Daniel Bush and was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Bush. Mr. Bush was 
retired from Hazlehurst Mills.
 Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carnell Bush of Hazlehurst; daughters 
and sons-in-law, Kathy and Jimmy Powell, Patsy and Gary McDaniel of 
Hazlehurst; sons and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Angie Bush, Stanley Bush, 
David Bush, and Ronnie Bush, all of Hazlehurst; sisters and brother-in-law, 
Lorine Thompson of Lumber City and Clare and Winton Roberson of Vidalia; 
brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Rose Bush of Macon and Jesse and Pat 
Bush of Hazlehurst; daughter-in-law, Sonya Bush of Hazlehurst; 16 
grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
 Active pallbearers were Hilton Toler, Chester Toler, Walter Kersey, Mark 
Bush, Michael Groover, and Bobby Dukes.
 Miles Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.

Eschol was born 10-2-1928.
