                   Nearly 82, George Foskey Succumbs
 George Frank Foskey, age 81, died at his home near Hazlehurst Sunday night 
after a long illness.
 Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2PM at Rocky Branch Church near here 
with Rev. Hugh Dasher officiating. Burial was in the Foskey cemetery near 
Adrian.
 Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nettie Daniel Foskey; three sons, Homer, 
Willie, and Carlos Foskey, all of Hazlehurst; four daughters, Mrs. Callie 
Wilson, Mrs. Luketta Smith, both of Macon, Mrs. Annie Cribb and Mrs. Hattie 
Toler, both of Hazelhurst; five sisters, Mrs. Lula Rowland of Waycross, Mrs. 
Annie Brantley of Dublin, Mrs. Ocalla Mims of Alamo, Mrs. Idella Mims and Mrs. 
Clara Mims, both of Adrian; 44 grandchildren; 117 great-grandchildren; and 8 
great-great-grandchildren.
 Pallbearers were Troy Smith, Frank Smith, Thurman Toler, Monroe Wilson, 
Randolph Toler, and Morris Wood.
 Thomas and Son Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Additional Comments:
George Frank was born to George Aaron Foskey and Georgian Pope Foskey on 1-31-
1878. His first wife was Inez C. Warren Foskey.
