                          Mr. Ervin Foskey Sr.
 Funeral services for Mr. Ervin Foskey Sr., 71, of Hazlehurst, who died 
Wednesday in the Jeff Davis Hospital, were held Friday in Liberty Baptist 
Church. The Rev. Dewitt Griffin, the Rev. Charles Carter, and Hal Jeffcoat 
officiated with burial in Liberty Cemetery.
 Mr. Foskey was a native and life long resident of Jeff Davis County, was a 
retired farmer, and member of Liberty Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife Mrs. Annie Lee Foskey of Hazlehurst; six 
daughters, Mrs. Mae Taylor and Ms. Brenda Foskey, both of Hazlehurst, Mrs. 
Virginia Rodenberry and Mrs. Marilyn Haymons, both of Lumber City, Mrs. Betty 
Taylor of Vidalia, and Mrs. Mary Beckner of Kauserlautern, West Germany; five 
sons, Mr. Russell Herman Foskey of Covington, Mr. Ervin Foskey Jr. of Macon, 
Mr. Walter Foskey, Mr. Carroll Foskey, and Mr. Randall Foskey, all of 
Hazlehurst; two sisters, Mrs. Avie Sheppard of Jacksonville, Fla. and Mrs. 
Louise Floyd of High Springs, Fla.; one brother, Mr. Johnny Foskey of Baxley; 
23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
 Active pallbearers were Mike Taylor, Greg Taylor, Ronnis Harris, Roy 
Rodenberry, Wendell Creech, and Ricky Courson.
 Honorary pallbearers were Freddie Freeman, Aubrey Shumans, Sammy Creech, Dr. 
Sidney Johnson, Dr. Taylor Dominy, Dr. Alvin Graham Jr., Barnie O'Quinn Jr. 
MD, and Mary Coleman, Mark Hall, Mackie and Caroline Sweat.
 Music was rendered by Hal Jeffcoat.
 Miles Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Ervin  was born 9-29-1919 to George D. Foskey and Liller Rowell Foskey.
