Claude Gordon Rea who died August 18, 1957 in Jeff Davis County,

Claude G. Rea, Hazlehurst
Hazlehurst, Ga., Aug. 18 -
Claude G. Rea, 70, died at his home near Hazlehurst Saturday after a long illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Union Springs Baptist Church
by the Rev. B. West Griffin and the Rev. Bob Chavis. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Kirby Rea, C. W. Rea and Clyde Rea, all of Hazlehurst: and 
one daughter, Mrs. James Bisharoon of Hazlehurst.
Pallbearers will be Lambert Horne, Homer Rogers, P. B. Sanders, Mack Foskey, 
O. L. Jackson and Benny Byrd. Honorary pallbearers will be A. W. Byrd, Herbert
Kite, John Fletcher, C. C. Hayes, Jasper Colson, Elmer Taylor, Willie Kersey and
Homer Byrd.
A native of Monticello, Mr. Rea came to this section as a young man. He was a farmer.
Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
