              Mrs. Lula Rowland, Aged 94, Succumbs
 Mrs. Lula M. Rowland, age 94, died in the Memorial Hospital in Waycross 
Saturday afternoon after a long illness.
 Funeral services were held on Monday at 3PM from the Grace Baptist Church in 
Hazelhurst, Rev. Bob Chavis and Rev. J. W. Morris officiated. Burial was in 
Liberty Cemetery, Jeff Davis County.
 Mrs. Rowland was born and reared in Johnson County, moved to Hazelhurst, and 
was married to the late Joe Rowland of this county. She lived here until a few 
years ago when she moved to Waycross.
 Mrs. Rowland is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joe Anna Butler of 
Soperton, Mrs. Lavada Hutchinson and Mrs. Cleo Cravey, both of Waycross and 
Mrs. Minnie Jones of Savannah.; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Brantley and Mrs. 
Ocala Mims, both of Dublin and Mrs. Clara Mims of Adrian; and 52 grandchildren.
 Pallbearers were: Ernest Rowland, Calvin Rowland, Arthur Rowland, Offie 
Rowland, John Witcher and James Rowland.
 Thomas Funeral Home was in chatge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Lula was born 11-7-1868 to George Aaron Foskey and Georgian Pope Foskey.
