                      Henry J. Rowland Expires Friday
 Henry J. Rowland, age 58, died in a Hazlehurst hospital Friday where he was 
brought a few hours earlier. His death was unexpected and many friends will 
regret to learn of it.
 Funeral services were held Sunday, 2 o'clock from the grave side in Liberty 
cemetery near Hazlehurst, Reb. Bob Chavis in charge of services. Thomas 
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
 Survivors are his widow, who before her marriage, was Miss Lou Rowell; five 
sons, A. L., J. A., C. E., E. S., and J. R., all of Hazlehurst; one daughter, 
Mrs. Ann Partin; five sisters, Mrs. Andy Whitaker of Waycross, Mrs. Crockett 
Jones of Brunswick, Mrs. Lige Butler of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Clarence Hutchinson 
of Lyons, and Mrs. Riley Rowell of Hazlehurst. His mother, Mrs. Lula Rowland 
also survives.

Additional Comments:
Henry was born Jul 1891 to Joseph T. R. "Joe" Rowland and Lula Maria Foskey 
Rowland.
