                   Mrs. Lou Rowland Dies At Age 76
 Mrs. Lou Rowell Rowland, 76, died at her home Thursday morning after a short 
illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at 4pm from Grace Baptist Church 
with rev. Bob Cravis officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery.
 Survivors include : One daughter, Mrs. Ruby Partin, Hazlehurst; five sons, 
Sam, Alvin, Allen, Ernest, all of Hazlehurst and Calvin of Lyons; two sisters, 
Mrs. Beulah Rowell and Mrs. Emma Sheppard, Hazlehurst; and two brothers, Riley 
Rowell and Odell Rowell, Hazlehurst.
 Pallbearers were Charles Rowell, Carlton Rowell, Carton Rowell, Offie Rowell, 
Arthur Rowland, Billy Brown, and James Rowland.
 Thomas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Additional Comments:
Lou was born 16 Sep 1888 to John Richard Rowell and Margie Hesters Rowell. Her 
hisband was Henry Joseph Rowland who is also buried at Libert Baptist Church 
Cumetery in Jeff Davis County.
