Toler Services for Mrs. Hattie Foskey Toler, 83, of Hazlehurst, who died Saturday afternoon at Wheeler County Hospital in Glenwood after an extended illness, were held Monday at Wainright and Parlor Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Calvin Rowland and the Rev. Billy Williams officiated with burial in Satilla Cemetery. Mrs. Toler was a native of Johnson County and was a resident of Hazlehurst for the past 61 years coming from Wrightsville. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mary Lee Cothern, Mrs. Gurtis Lee Conley, Mrs. Carnell Bush, Mrs. Ethel Dukes, and Mrs. Josephine Groover; four sons, Leonard Toler, Randolph "Doc" Toler, Bill Toler, and Thurman Toler, all of Hazlehurst; one brother, Homer Foskey of Hazlehurst; one sister, Mrs. Katter Smith of Macon; 48 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 2 great- great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Larry Toler, Jerry Toler, Steve Toler, Michael Groover, Silas Dukes, and Joe Toler. Wainright and Parlor Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
