Duke, Thunderbolt, Ga, died yesterday at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. D.O. Hall at 213 River Drive , Thunderbolt. He was a member of the Brotherhood of the Locomotive Engineers and of Wadley Methodist Church . Survivors in addition to Mrs. Hall are a son Frank A Duke , Savannah. A brother J.T. Duke , New Smyrna , Fla. Three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren . Funeral services were held today at 11am at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home , conducted by the Rev. R.Mills Gray , Pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery . Pallbearers will be G.H.Hagins , D.A. Carter , William Lupeck , J.L.Witt, D.E. Parker and J.G. Tailey. Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Of The Central Of Georgia Railroad. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Duke -1875-1944 Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Duke died suddenly yesterday at her residence , 4107 Bull Street. She is survived by her husband, John Frank (Forth) Duke, a daughter , Mrs. David Oscar Hall. two sons , Frank Arthur Duke and John Thomas Duke ; and a sister , Mrs. Irene Ricks of Fort Screven. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Sipple's Mortuary by the Rev, John D. Wilder , D.D. pastor of Calvery Baptist Temple . Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery . Active pallbearers will be Raymond Mock, Hubert Norton , Edward Smiley , Ben T. Cox Jr. L.A. Clarke and Cecil Clarke . Honorary pallbearers will be Jack T.Lee, Charlie Showalter , Andrew Shelton, E.H. Hammock, and J.E.Witt. Franklin Arthur Duke - 1895-1965 Franklin Arthur Duke of 1206 Seiler Ave. died unexpectedly Monday night in a Milledgeville hospital . He had been a locomotive engineer for the Central of Georgia . Surviors are his wife Ruby Sconyers Duke , a daughter , Mrs. Armand Venzia of Naples , Italy : a sister , Mrs. D.O.Hall of Thunderbolt: and two grandchildren . Moore's Funeral Home of Milledgeville is in charge . James T. Duke - 1899-1953 James T. Duke died of natural causes - Coroner A examination of the body of James Thomas Duke , 54 of 213 River Drive , Thunderbolt , Who was found yesterday morning in a vacant lot at 46th and West Broad St. revealed the cause of death as natural causes and exposure , according to report from coroner , Dr. Harold Smith , Chatham County Coroner. The body was found shortly after 10 am by a negro, John Lee , who wandered into a clump of bushes on a vacant lot. Captain Leonard J. Hallman , Cheif Homcide Investigator of the Savannah Police Dept. said the body was badly decomposed and he had been dead for 4-7 days. Captain Hallmain said Mr. Duke was last seen by a family member 1 week ago Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 am , Fox and Weeks Funeral Home, Conducted by Rev. R.Mills Gray of The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery . He was a native of Wadley , Ga. but lived most of his life here. He was a Veteran of W.W.1 and had been in ill health for many years. Surviors are his father , John F.F. Duke of Thunderbolt , a brother , Frank A. Duke of Savannah , A sister Mrs. D.O. Hall of Thunderbolt , three nieces and a nephew. Pallbearers are Frank A. Kramer Jr. H.F. Burnside . Fay W. Fallin , G.C. Hendrix , Harry Adler , Wade Young and all members of Chatham Post 32.
