Albert D. McGahee
WRENS, Ga – Albert Dick McGahee, 76, died at his residence Friday.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today from the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with
the Rev. Roy Drawdy officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was a native of Jefferson County, a retired farmer, and a member of the Mt.
Horeb Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters , Mrs. Leonis Gay, Wrens, Mrs. William S.
Perdue, Augusta and Mrs. Lewis Chalker, Wrens; three sons, Cecil McGahee and Bud
R. McGahee both of Thomson, Ga., and Dickie McGahee, Wrens; two sisters, Mrs.
Pearl Thrift, Metter, Ga. and Mrs. Rena Dye, Augusta.
Pallbearers will include Frank Ellis, Sy Kitchens, Roy Rayburn, Lawrence Gay,
Billy James and Calvin James.
Friends may call at the home, Allen Street, Wrens or at the M. W. Callaway and
Sons Funeral Home, Wrens, until 2 p.m. and then at the church.


Additional Comments:
Albert was a son of Bud Rivers McGahee and his second wife Mollie Gay of
Jefferson County, Georgia.
