                    Colonel W. McNeal
 AIKEN -- Colonel William McNeal of Route 4 Box 650 died Tuesday in an Augusta 
nursing home.
 The funeral will be held at 4pm today at Elliott Sons Funeral Home chapel, 
Telfair Street. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
 Mr. McNeal, a native of Glascock County, Ga., had lived in Aiken for 6 years. 
He was a retired carpenter and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.
 Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Leona N. McNeal; one son, Fred McNeal, 
Augusta; and four daughters, Geneva DeChau, Midville, Ga., Dorothy Cunningham, 
North Augusta, and Mary Cowan and Juanita McKinney, Aiken.
 Pallbearers will be Edward DeChau Jr., William John Day, Harold Cunningham, 
Larry J. McKinney, Fred McNeal Jr. and Terry Cowan.

Additional Comments:
Colonel was born 13 Dec 1892 to Wesley Hiram McNeal and Linney Lena McCoy 
McNeal. His wife, Leona Newsome McNeal is also buried in Hillcrest.
