Peebles, died at her residence Friday. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Zoar Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Raley and the Rev. Gordon Price officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Orlanda, Fla. Monday. A native of Glascock County, Mrs. Peebles was the daughter of the late John David and Matilda Wren McNair. Active pallbearers were nephews: Jeddy Rabun, Thurmon Rabun, Marvin Rabun, Paul McNair, Kenneth McNair and Odell Hadden. Survivors include 6 sons, Leon J. Peebles and George H. Peebles, both of Stapleton, Jack Peebles, Seabrook, Tex., Albert F. Peebles, Cambia, Wis., Roy M. Peebles, Decatur, and John M. Peebles, Augusta; 2 daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Lloyd, Decatur and Mrs. Joyce Permenter, Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. A. D. Rabun, Stapleton; a half sister, Mrs. Geneva Thompson, Fargo, N.
