Matthews, GA. - Mr. Andrew Thomas "Mutt" Prickett, 75, of Route 1, Box 243, died Wednesday, July 3, 1991, at Brentwood Terracce Health Center, Waynesboro. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at M.W. Callaway & Sons Funeral Home, Wrens, with the Rev. Jim Emery officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Prickett a native of Jefferson County, had retired as a logger from Anderson Prescott Logging Co. and was a member of Mount Moriah Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Agnes Stewart Prickett; six daughters, Betty Jean Prickett Keysville, Annie Lucille Unruh, Louisville, Martha Sue Tobias, Sardis, Ellen Frances Swint and Judy Mae Flake both of Waynesboro, Alma Ruth Palmore, Wrens; three sons, Talmadge Velt Prickett and Donald Berry Prickett, both of Matthews and Samuel Thomas Prickett, Hephzibah; a sister, Bessie Arrington, Matthews; two brothers, John Wesley Prickett, Matthews, and Juddie Wilson Prickett, Matthews; and 32 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society of Jefferson County, P.O. Box 553 Wrens, 30833. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and the funeral home.
