Will of Harris Autin 05 Oct 1825 Jefferson County, GA Sworn to before us in 27th day of October 1825 E Bothwell WILL OF HARRIS AUSTIN Made Oct. 5, 1825 Probated Nov. 7, 1825 Mentions: Anna Austin - Life Executors: Anna Austin Samuel Bass WILL In the name of God amen I Harris Austin of the State of Georgia and County of Jefferson being aged but of perfect mind and memory and after that to Judgment and for such Worldly Estate as God has Endowed with I give and bequeath as follows In the first place I will and be- queath my soul to god that gave it ---- I Will and bequeath as follows - First it is my will and I do order that my well beloved wife Anna after my decease shall Enjoy and possess during her natural life all the lands I possess in the County of Burke and Jefferson in said state and after my death if she wishes to sell the land which lies in Burke County. It is my will for her to so and after her death the other lands mentioned to belong to her Heirs begotten of my body also is my will and I do order that my well beloved wife Anna shall enjoy and possess during her life a negro girl slave names Phillis to dis-pose of as she may think proper, and I also well and order the stock of all kinds household and kitchen furniture that my wife Anna had of her own at our marriage to be equally divided between her children now living and the stock of all kinds household and kitchen furniture that I possess at our marriage to be my wife Annas during her life and at her death to the heirs of her body by me - It is my will and I do authorise and appoint my well - beloved wife Anna and Samuel Barr to be my Executors giving the said Executors all lawful authority and full - power to put this my last will and Testament in Execution Renouncing and disannuling all other and I do hereby Publish pronounce and Declare this to be my last Will and Testament------- In Witnesses whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal dated this 5th Day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Five and delivered to be my last - will in presents and testment of underlined before assigned William Wylly Harris Austin his Charles X Mathews mark Georgia ) Jefferson County ) Personally appeared in open Court William C.
