Item 1st - I desire and direct that my body be decently buried. My soul I commit to God who gave it as I hope for eternal life through the merits of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Item 2nd - I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid by my Executors as soon as practicable. Item 3rd - It is my will and desire that my plantation known as the "Gertman place" be equally divided - one half of said plantation to belong to my brother Thomas S Calhoun and the other half to by equally divided between the children of my sister Louisa Torrance wife of Cuthbert Torrance and the children of my sister Susan Moore share and share alike. Item 4th - It is my will and desire that two hundred acres of land shall belong to my niece Dicy S. Cale daughter of my brother J. W. Calhoun the same to be selected and set aside by said Brother J. W. Calhoun out of the remaining portion of my land wherever he may see proper to locate it. And it is my will that said two hundred acres of land shall not be controlled nor subject to the debts of her present or any future husband but for the exclusive use of herself and her heirs. Item 5th - The entire residue of my property real and personal of which I may be possessed at death I give and bequeath to my brother J. W. Calhoun. Item 6th - I hereby nominate and appoint my brother J. W. Calhoun Executor to this my last will and testament This March 9th 1882.
