Hudson redbird@accessatc.net Will of B. F. HUDSON Dated: 24 Jan 1898 Jefferson County, Georgia Wills, page 155 and 156 State of Georgia ) Jefferson County ) In the name of God, Amen. I, B. F. HUDSON, of said State and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must sortly depart this life, deem it right and proper both as respects my family and myself, that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me do therefore make this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Item First: I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian-like manner, suitable to my circumstances in life. Item Second: I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executrix hereinafter appointed as I am unwilling my creditors should be delayed in their right. Item Third: I give and bequeath and devise to MRS. MARY WARREN HUDSON the wife of my beloved son T. R. HUDSON, who has been uniformly tender, considerate, and loving in her treatment to me, one-half of my livery stable business situated at Nos. 518 and 520 Poplar Street and one-half of al the horses, carriages, buggies, harnesses, corn, oats, hay and one-half of all accounted debts due me choses (sic) of action and one-half of all my property both real and personal wherever found. Item Fourth: I give, bequeath, and desire to my beloved grandchild JOHN FRANKLIN HUDSON, the son of my son THOMAS HUDSON, and daughter MARY WARREN HUDSON, one-half interest in all of the above mentioned property and of all the other property both real and personal that I may own at the time of my death. In as much as the said JOHN FRANKLIN HUDSON is now a Minor I especially direct and impower my daughter MARY WARREN to hold all the one-half interest of the said JOHN FRANKLIN HUDSON in Trust for the said JOHN FRANKLIN HUDSON with full power in her to sell any portion or all of said property whenever in her judgement it shall seem advisable and to reinvest the proceeds thereof as she shall deem best without the order or consent of any Court. Item Fifth: I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved daughter MARY WARREN HUDSON the Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and especially desire and direct that she shall not be required to make and file with the Ordinary of said County any bond as said Executrix nor shall she be required at any time to make any returns to any Court whatever, but she shall have full power to execute this my Last Will without any bond or returns or order from any Court. /s/ B.
