Hudson I, FRANCIS A. HUDSON, of said State and County being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all Wills heretofore made by me. Item First: I wish my Executor as soon as possible after my death to pay my debts if any out of my property or money whichever in his judgement would be best. Item Second: I wish my Executor to see that my body have a Christian-like burial and that he place something at my grave to mark my last resting place. Item Third: I wish to give to my brother, J. C. HUDSON, one promisary note that I hold against him for one hundred and fifty dollars ($150). Then I give all of my property of any kind that I may have at my death consisting mostly of money and notes, including one note on the First National Bank of Louisville, Georgia that is made payable to myself or J. C. HUDSON to the following persons, share and share alike equally divided: J. C. HUDSON my brother, and my nieces ETTA COLEMAN, MAGGIE JORDAN, LINA MOXLEY, OLA PATRICK, RUTH BRINSON and FANNIE HOMER. Item Fourth: I do hereby appoint W. A. COLEMAN Executor of this my Last Will. In testimony where of I hereto set ) my hand this 29th day of March 1917 ) /s/ FRANCES A. I estimate he was born between 1727-1797 and died about 08 January 1818 in Jefferson County, GA. We do not know his wife(s) at this time. ISAAC HUDSON had three children: 1) Joseph H. Hudson (below), 2) John James Hudson b:19Apr1813 JeffCo GA; d:05Feb1881 SumterCoGA; m. 1838 to Susan Pernease Hicks (b:17Jul1818 Marion (?) CoGA; d:04Mar1888 SumterCoGA), 3) Ireina "Irma" Elizabeth Hudson b:1800-1817 GA d:1847 Jefferson; m. 06Jan1833 in Jefferson to Hardy Battle Gregory (he b: 03Aug1806 Onslow Co, NC d. 12Sep1883 Jefferson). They had two children: B. H. Gregory (male) and John J. Gregory before she died. Francis’ father was JOSEPH H. HUDSON. He was listed on Page 178a of the 1850 Jefferson County, GA Federal Census. JOSEPH H. HUDSON received land via the Georgia Land Lottery, HR Land Grant, Jefferson County, GA, 1848, Volume W5, p.263 - 169 acres. Joseph H. Hudson was born about 1808 in Burke County, GA and died July 1860 Jefferson County, GA. He married Margarette P. "Margaret" (Tarver??) abt. 1829 we think in Burke County. Margarette was born about 1810 Burke County, GA and died aft. 1860 probably in Jefferson County, GA. Joseph H. Hudson and Margarette (unknown) had nine children: 1) Elizabeth Hudson, b. 1830 Jefferson 2) Benjamin F. Hudson, b. 1831 Jefferson, d. aft. 1850 Washington Co GA? -- NOTE: Benjamin living w/ JAMES B. EVERITT family 1850 Washington Co GA, pg.225a. 3) Frances Arena "Fannie" Hudson, b. 1837 Jefferson, d. aft. 29 Mar 1917 (tombstone says "1917" Jefferson; buried at Gregory Cemetery, Old U S Highway 1, Louisville, GA -- Never married 4) John C. Hudson, b. 1838 Jefferson, d. alive in 1860 Jefferson 5) George H. Hudson, b. abt. 1840 Jefferson, d. aft. 1850 Washington Co GA?? -- NOTE: George Hudson living w/ BENJAMIN BROOKINS family 1850 Washington Co GA, pg.265b 6) Isaac Hudson, b. 1842 Jefferson, d. alive in 1860 Jefferson 7) Sarah Hudson, b. 1844 Jefferson 8) Margarette Hudson, b. 1849 Jefferson, d.
