Wiggins Cemetery Inscriptions Jenkins County, GA WIGGINS CEMETERY Jenkins County, Georgia Location: .1 mile from the intersection of Thomas Rd., Brinson Lane Rd. and Ed Lewis Rd. on southwest side of Thomas Rd. Census taken January 19, 1998 by L.L. Ketchum Note: Historically, this is a black cemetery and, according to a life-long resident of the area, hasn’t been used for burials since the early 1960's. It comprises an area of about two acres and has not been maintained. The entire area is overgrown with trees and thick brush. The grave sites listed below are widely separated from one another, and are the only ones that could be found with markers (some of these markers had to be unearthed). There is evidence of many more graves scattered throughout the area.
