Arnold Bennett, 65, of Millen died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004 at Sylview Nursing 
Center, Sylvania, following a long illness.

His funeral was 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at Deep Creek Free Will Baptist 
Church with the Revs. Bill Barksdale and Butch Taylor officiating.

Burial was in the Bennett Family Cemetery.

Mr. Bennett was a native of Jenkins County and a retired employee of Jockey 
International.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Bennett of Millen; two daughters, Carol 
Johnson and son-in-law Mitchell Johnson and Angie Bennett, all of Millen; a 
sister, Mary Burke of Millen; two brothers, Roosevelt "Buddy" Bennett Jr. and 
Wayne Bennett, both of Millen; and three grandchildren, Haley, Hudson and 
Hayward Johnson, all of Millen.

Pallbearers were nephews, Billy McDaniel, Stacy Bennett, Bruce Davis, Charles 
Burke, Tyson Bennett and Jason Bennett and David Gay.
