Mr. Grady Burke, 79, of Millen, died Monday, June 30, 2003. He was born in Screven County, a retired truck driver and a member of Green Fork Baptist Church.


Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at the West Millen Baptist Church, with the Revs. Butch Taylor and Ray Freeman officiating. The burial followed in the Millen Cemetery.


Survivors include his wife, Thelma Taylor Burke of Millen; daughters, Carolyn Eubanks of Augusta and Sara Ann Lancaster and Gwen Flakes, both of Millen; sons, Randy Burke and Danny Burke, both of Millen; sisters, Walton Burke of Millen and Annie Dickey of Statesboro; a brother, Jinks Burke of Millen; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.


Pallbearers were Robbie Beard, Billy Burke, Bobby Burke, Eddie Eskew, Jerry Taylor and Don Taylor.
