Dorothy McNeely Cooke, retired educator and former member of the Jenkins 

County Board of Education, entered into eternal rest Monday, Sept. 13, 2004 at 

the Jenkins County Hospital.



She is survived by her mother, Ella Mae Davis; and five brothers, William 

Henry McNeely, Walter McNeely, William Paul McNeely, Robert McNeely and Lewis 

Davis Jr.



Services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 18, at Zion Baptist 

Church. The Rev. P.M. Broomfield is pastor.
