Mr. Dye was born in Abbeville County, S.C. Aug. 26, 1965 to James Wiley and Mildred Cade Dye. He was a member of Bethlehem Church of God Holiness. He was a graduate of McCormick High School and he attended South Carolina State University. He was employed as a supervisor with Metal Industries, Inc. in Millen. Survivors include his wife of Millen; his parents of McCormick; two daughters, Fallon Renee and Shalagh Brianna, both of Millen; a brother, James Anthony Dye of Greenwood, S.C.; a sister, Sharon Dye Lee of Chesterfield Township, Mich.; and his paternal grandparents, Earnest and Betty Dye of Greenwood. His funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Bethlehem Church of God Holiness in McCormick, S.C. The family will have visitation of friends 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Kirkland Funeral Home. The family is at his home, 527 Drexel Ave., Millen and at the home of his parents, Route 1, Highway 378 East, McCormick. -- The Millen News, July 30, 2003.
