Medical Center in Augusta. His funeral was 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Bray officiating. Burial was in the Millen Cemetery. Mr. Wilson, a native of Jenkins County, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retail auto dealer. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He formerly served as a Jenkins County commissioner. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Polk Wilson; two daughters, Janice W. Cheney and Karen W. Lane; and a son, Lee Wilson, all of Millen; two sisters, Beatrice Lewis, also of Millen, and Dorothy Clark of Deland, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Ronald Adams, Jimmy Adams, Daniel Smith, Darrell Lewis, Tony Clark, Ricky Baggett, Dean Dailey and Jessie Earl Burke.
