Mrs. Audrey Johnson Williams, 67, of Waycross died Sunday, July 11, 2004 at 
her daughter's residence, after an extended illness.

Her funeral was held 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the Music Funeral Home 
Chapel. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Emanuel County, but she lived most of her life 
in Waycross. She was a homemaker and a member of Pineview Baptist Church. She 
was the daughter of the late John Tom Johnson and Pansy Oglesby Johnson. She 
was the wife of the late Hoke Williams and the late Joe Simmons.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie Lankford and husband, Greg, of 
Waycross and Felicia VonHagn and husband, John, of Elmira, N.Y.; five 
grandchildren, Amanda McNeil and husband, Roy, Cliff Gay, Austin Lankford, 
Emily VonHagn and Elizabeth VonHagn; three sisters, Tommie Hatcher, Annette 
Blackwell and Pam Moore, all of Emanuel County; a brother, Ben Edward Johnson, 
also of Emanuel County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
