Mr. Franklin "Cuff" Weathersby, 63, of Millen died Friday, July 2, 2004 at his 
residence.
 
His funeral was 3 p.m. Sunday, July 4, at Oak Hill Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Wayne Bray and Bobby R. Dailey officiating. Burial was in the church 
cemetery.
 
Mr. Weathersby, a native of Jenkins County, was a farmer and he was employed 
by Kulke Construction Co. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include his wife, Pearl R. Weathersby of Millen; two daughters, 
Cindy Pennington of Statesboro and Janet Jones of Millen; a son, Bruce Dailey 
of Statesboro; three sisters, Grace Ezell of Warner Robins, Vivian Forehand of 
Hiltonia and Patsy Burke of Millen; two brothers, Horace Weathersby Jr. of 
Millen and Donald Weathersby of Vienna; and five grandchildren.
 
Active pallbearers were Horace Weathersby III, Lee Weathersby, Jon Weathersby, 
George Hall, Dennis Small and Mike Chance.
 
Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
