His funeral was at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Elam Baptist Church with the Revs. Ken Wagers and George Durham officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He was born in Hart County and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict and participated with the 101st Airborne in the Normandy invasion. Mr. Snow was also retired from Yancy Brothers Caterpillar and was a member of the Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Hartwell. Survivors include his three daughters, Betty Jean Kirkland and Doris Ergle of Sylvania and Dale S. Reeves of Millen; a son, James S. Snow of Sylvania; and 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Bell Snow. Active pallbearers were grandsons, Jim R. Doyle, Rodney Doyle, Lee Parker, Eric Ergle, Stacey Herrmann, Rew Herrmann, Scott Herrmann, Rhes Reeves, Michael Snow and J.J.
