Hendley Jr., 63, of (address omitted for privacy) Midville, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at his residence, following a brief illness. His funeral was 3 p.m. Thursday, July 22, in the chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. John D. Hendley officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hendley, a native of Emanuel County, was a welder with Emco Metal. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Barbara Hendley of Midville; two daughters, Dana Neasbitt of Millen and Donna Arthur of Sylvania; a son, Randy Martin of Collins; his mother, Mrs. Pauline Cannady of Midville; a brother, Don Cannady of Millen; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roger Johnson, Steve Hendley, Dennis Holden, Larry Hall, Tommy Proctor and Newton Williams.
