Ms. Martina Rena Herrington, 24, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at her residence in 
Millen.

Her funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 217 
Walnut St., with Pastor Bernard Clarke officiating. Visitation will be held 
Friday, Aug. 13, at Dwight's Funeral Home.

Ms. Herrington was a 1998 graduate of Jenkins County High School. She was 
pursuing a nursing credential at Ogeechee Technical College. She was employed 
at Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro. She was a 
member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, where she served as an usher.

Survivors include her children, Marshella Dena Herrington and Dodi Young, both 
of Millen; her mother, Mrs. Martha H. Harris of Millen; her father, Mr. Bobby 
Torrence of Lake City, Fla.; brothers, Hosley Marquis and Marquett Farrell 
Harris of Millen; a sister, Tia Torrence of Augusta; paternal grandfather, the 
Rev. Willie (Teresa) Torrence of Portal; and a host of other loving relatives 
and friends.
