Mr. James Allen Johnson, 65, of Guyton died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004 at St. 
Joseph Hospital in Savannah.

His funeral was 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, in the Ben Wages Chapel of Riggs 
Funeral Home in Guyton. Burial was in the Effingham Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Johnson, a native of Burke County, lived in Effingham County for a number 
of years. He was a retired boilermaker at Union Camp and a member of the 
Boilermakers Union. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Ruth Johnson of Guyton; two daughters and a 
son-in-law, Angela Ruth McDonough and Sandra Antee and Ramie Antee III, all 
also of Guyton; a brother, William Junior Johnson of Sardis; a sister, Evelyn 
Elliott, also of Sardis; and four grandchildren, Christopher Britton, Ramie 
Antee IV, Joshua Antee and Jacob Antee, all also of Guyton.
