Charles Edward Lee,72, of Millen died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004.



His funeral was 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, at the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church 

with the Rev. Raymond Trent officiating. Burial was in the Millen Cemetery.



Mr. Lee was born in Jenkins County. He was a retired sales manager for the 

Thomson Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of 

the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.



Survivors include his wife, Elma Annette Davis Lee; a daughter, Pamela Johnson 

of Millen; three sisters, Geraldine Fulghum of Covington, Betty Whitaker of 

Sycamore and Regina Varnadoe of Millen; a brother, Herbert Lee of Augusta; and 

three grandchildren.



Active pallbearers were Frank Suggs, Ronnie Arthur, Charles Woods III, Charles 

Woods II, Billy Joe Lane and Robert Johnson.
