The Millen News, January 5, 2005

Mr. Leo Parker, 80, of Millen died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2004 at Candler County 
Hospital.

His funeral was held Monday, Dec. 27, at the Millen Church of God with the 
Rev. Wilma Byrd officiating. Burial was in the Bay Branch Baptist Church 
Cemetery.

Mr. Parker, a native of Screven County, was a retired automobile repairman.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Whitehead of Sylvania, Maria A. 
Parker of Hephzibah and Julia Bragg of Waynesboro; four sons, Eddie Dean 
Parker and Wayne A. Parker, both of Millen, Christopher Parker of Statesboro 
and Jessie J. Parker of Pulaski; two sisters, Elease Clarke and Louise 
Perryman, both of Millen; two brothers, Millard Parker of Augusta and Willie 
Parker of Millen; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were nephews and grandsons.
