Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Millen Cemetery. Mrs. Stephens, a native of Fairmount, was the wife of the late Robert G. Stephens. She was a former teacher. She was a past member of the Magnolia Garden Club and the Round Table and was a member of the Millen Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jan S. and Ernest Thorne of Millen and Roberta S. and Jim Day of North Augusta, S.C.; a sister, Marcille Johnson of Sebring, Fla.; three grandchildren, Mid Thorne of Marietta, Jancy T. Reavis of Roswell and Mary Roberta Day of Charleston, S.C.; three step- grandchildren, Tammy D. West of Martinez, David Day of Augusta and Chris Day of Oalthe, Kan.; two great-grandchildren, Katherine Dale Reavis and Duncan Philip Reavis; and five step-great-grandchildren, Brenna West, Caroline West, Davidson Day, Christian Day and Ashlyn Day. Active pallbearers were David Gay, Wayne Gay, Ed Stephens, Lamar Parker, John Bell, Ellis Stephens, King Rocker, Daniel Smith, Frank Zeagler and Bobby Fries. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Joy Sunday School Class. Memorials may be sent to Millen Baptist Church, P.O.
