Bessie Lee Elmore Saxon 
(January 11, 1930 - August 2, 2012) 


Mrs. Bessie Lee Elmore Saxon, 82, of Millen died Thursday, August 2, 2012.

She was born in Jenkins County, had been a seamstress for Thomson Company, 
retired as a food service supervisor for the Jenkins County Board of Education, 
and was a member of Fair Haven United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, at Fair Haven United Methodist 
Church. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her two sons, Walter H. Saxon and Donnie (Ann) Saxon of 
Millen; a brother, C. Howard (Elizabeth) Elmore of Millen; a sister, Lucille 
Edwards of Sylvania; three grandchildren, Angie Wilkerson, Tammy Cranshaw and 
Lynn Brinson, and five great grandchildren, Colton, Chassity and Chase 
Wilkerson, Bryce and Taylor Cranshaw.

Pallbearers will be Roger Black, Math Johnson, Ed Wilson, Andy Brinson, Darrel 
Clifton, Johnny Fleming, Joe Law, Jay Elmore, Roy Edwards, and Roy Harris.

Visitation was from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
