Ms. Nancy Deen Wolfinger, 49, of Millen died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004.

Her funeral was 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the Millen Baptist Church. Burial 
was in the Satilla Baptist Cemetery in Baxley.

Ms. Wolfinger, a native of Wayne County, was the owner of Artworks. She was a 
member of Millen Baptist Church, the Millen Rotary Club and Millen Better 
Hometown. She served on the boards of the Jenkins County Family Enrichment 
Commission, Jenkins County Development Authority and the Jenkins County 
Chamber of Commerce. She was chosen as the Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce 
Citizen of the Year in 2003.

Survivors include a daughter, Leslie W. Rowland of Swainsboro; a brother, Bill 
Deen of Peachtree City; a sister, Judy McGowan of Dublin; a grandson, Rylie 
Rowland, also of Swainsboro; stepmother, Hilda Deen of Manchester; and two 
stepsisters, Betty Davis of Woodbury and Martha Carolyn Daniel of Woodland.

Pallbearers were Larry Adams, Brad Rowland, Lewis Van Dyke, Kenneth Kight, 
Billy Beacham and John Brett.
