Family of Carwell Darley and Lois Inez  Poole Darley


  	
Carwell Darley was born May 17, 1913 in Soperton, Truetland, Ga,  the son of  
Neal C. Darley, born Abt. 1880 in Johnson, Ga., and  Minnie Donaldson.  She was 
born Abt. 1880 in Johnson, Ga.  

He married Lois Inez Poole September 08, 1937 in County Court House, Soperton, 
Truetland, Ga, she was the daughter of Arthur Poole and Annie Mae Hall Poole.  
She was born September 27, 1917 in Meeks, Johnson, Ga, and died July 04, 1991 
in Macon, Bibb, Ga.  

Uncle Carwell died July 19, 1976 in the office of Dr. Emory Johnson in Macon 
from a massive heart attack.  His friend was taking him to medical attention 
and  wanted to take him to the hospital,  Uncle Carwell insisted on going to 
the office of his doctor,  so he took him to Dr. Johnson's office.   He was 
buried at  Memorial Park Cemetery, Macon, Bibb, Ga.  Aunt Lois Inez Poole was 
buried July 07, 1991, Memorial Park Cemetery, Macon, Bibb, Ga. also.

Children of Carwell Darley and Lois Poole Darley are:

Carl Darley, born October 11, 1938 in Meeks, Johnson, Ga. Carl was born in the 
Mamie Smith house in Meeks, Johnson Co Ga.  The house belonged to Aunt Mamie 
Hall Smith, the sister of our Grandma Poole. It was about a mile from the house 
of our Grandma and Grandpa Poole.  He served one tour in the United States Air 
Force and while he was at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi he met and 
married his first wife Patricia.  They were married in Biloxi.  He has made his 
home in California for most of his life. 

William Samuel "Buddy" Darley, born November 28, 1940 in Meeks, Johnson, Ga.   
Patty was born in Vermont.  Buddy was born in the house of Grandma's brother 
Uncle Alonzo "Lon" Hall.  It was about a mile from the house of Grandma and 
Grandpa Poole.  He was serving in the United Staes Air Force when he met Patty. 
She was born in Vermont.  They were married in Macon and their first child 
Billy was born in Macon.  They have made their home in Vermont for most of 
their maried life.  They have a son Billy and a daughter Heather.

Glenda Lois Darley, born July 04, 1945 in  in the office of Dr. Kay in Byron, 
Peach Co.Georgia.  She married  Jackie Register Abt. 1962 in Macon, Bibb, Ga; 
born 1944 in Macon, Bibb, Ga; died 1985 in Macon, Bibb, Ga.  For 2 or 3 years 
Jackie and I rode the same school bus to school when I was in the 9th and 10th 
grades. I could not believe my ears when I heard she was going to marry him.  
They had 4 children together, divorced,  and he died in Macon about1970.
Glenda married second George McKinney in Macon.  She died 2000 and was buried 
in Macon. 

James Harold Darley, born January 28, 1953 in Fort Valley, Peach, Ga.  He 
married first  Susan I. Wood in Macon, Bibb, Ga. Susan and and Harold had one 
child,  Jessica Danielle. 

Harold and Kathryn Ann Sims were married at the home of her parents in Macon, 
February 14, 1980.  Kathy was born April 28, 1960 in Hialeah, Dade, Fl.
