Allen Located on the road from Gumlog Road to New Home Church on the John Mayo place. This cemetery has at least twenty children's grave. All the markers were broken up and most unreadable in 1978 when the survey was conducted. Last Name First Name Middle Name Birth Death Comment -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ivey Arrelia 1884 1886 Parents: Dr. G.N. & Martha Ivey Additional Comments: John and Charlotte May had seven children buried there from about 1865 to 1882. One broken marker read Percey Mayo. N.B. & Jennie Snider had six children buried there from 1893 to 1903. Folcher and Nonie Bell Hatcher had three children buried there from 1896 to 1902. Their names were Leon, Eugene, Claude. No markers remain. E.A. and Linnie Tharpe had two or three children buried there from 1890 to 1900. There was also some Dowd children buried there. Esra and Annie Lee Frost had one child buried there in 1906 or 1907. This was the last child to be buried in this cemetery. All of this information came from Mrs. Eddie Mae Pound Claxton in 1978.
