Allen The Old Dent cemetery is located on the Wright Norris property. Take highway 319 south to Raley's Pond (on left) and turn right. Go approximately two (2) miles and turn left at the white house on the corner. Travel about one (1) mile and turn right at Fred Underwood's home and then immediately left onto a farm road. After crossing the branch, turn left just past the second house on the left. Follow the trail into the field and the cemetery is on the left in the woods. It was a thickly settled community. Mr. John Dent owned the land where the cemetery is located and the original log house (their home) still stands there (1978). He was grandfather to Mrs. Francis Smith Paul and Mr. and Mrs. E.Kirby Smith were Mrs. Paul's parents. This cemetery is on Maude Raley's property (1978). Mr. John Dent started this cemetery.
