Know all men by these presents that we William Hall and Thomas Hutcherson are 
held and firmly bound unto the Justices of the Inferior Court of said county 
sitting as a court of ordinary and their successors in office in the sum of two 
hundred dollars for the payment of which sum to the said justice and their 
successors we bind our heirs executors and administrators in the whole sum and 
for the whole sum jointly and severally  and by these presents seals with us 
our hands and date this the first day of March Eighteen hundred and forty one.

The conditions of the above bound obligation is such that if the above bound 
William Hall is this day appointed guardian of the person and property of Sarah 
Hall orphan and said minor of James Hall late of Emanuel County deceased shall 
do purform all the duties of guardianship for this said ward as is required of 
him by law then this obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force 
power and virture.
