No one can compare with mai exsperence when some love one or friend departs this life. Such an exsperence came to our church and cumunity on the evening of Feb.7,1939 Mrs.Martha Ann Samantha Wombles departed this life.halving been here 77 years one month and 20 days.She was married to Mr.W.B.Wombles June 8,1882 and to this union was born 5 children 3 preceded her and she leaves a husband and 2 children to mourn her passing.She joined Philadelphia Primitive Baptis Church quite young Rev Been Fortner baptized her. Second page Later in life she was ask by a member of her family to become a charter member of Morse Chaple Church so they could constitute there in which she did and gave the plot of ground on which the building now stands.Still later in life she united with Rehoborth Baptis Church and taking up her cross,she tried daily to follow her christ until her cross changed unto a crown of glory.Her real worth was not known except by those who knew her best. Religion with her was no mere show but a life hid with christ in god. (Third page) She was massumising and made no great outward demostration yet a great more force in the church and cummityin which she was found faithfull and true. Was always buisy but never too buisy to go to church as long as health ________ _______. Her ilness was a long duration, but she bore it with christian fortitude. Eaven death has a wonderfull mission. Those it robes us of those we love. It draws us from our surroundings to long for the meeting above. Sleep on dear one, ere long we meet you. In that world so bright and (Forth page) fore. With a smile we gladly greet you when we join our right hand there why should we greave and weap for those so happy blessed. While we are struggling day by day their souls are now at rest. So we bow in humble submission to him who made _________ mistake. We know in his good time will tell. ____ he doeth all things well. The heavens shall glow with splendor _____ briter for than they. The saints shall shine in glory.The beauty of the savior shall dazzle every eye. In the crowning day that coming bye and bye. (Fifth page) Shall I doubt my father mercy? Shall I think of death as gloom or stepping o`er the threshold to a britter bigger room. She was laid to rest in the Morse Chapple Cemetery Feb. 8 to awate the resurection of the just Rev.S.D.Walker conducting funeral services. Respectifully __________ Mrs.Henry Garnto Mrs.L.
