Franklin Officiates Mr. James Anderson, 75 years of age, a native of Pulaski County, yet a relative of the well-known and prominent Anderson family of this county, died Oct. 22nd, 1941, at 5:45pm. He is survived by his wife by a third marriage and several children. Mr. Anderson was a fine man, a splendid citizen and one whom the community liked very much. He was born Aug. 23, 1866. Mr. Anderson was a Baptist, a member at Rehobeth church. He was an honest hard-working citizen and a man whom the general public had respect for in all of his dealings. He had been married three times, and children of his first two wives survive. There are no children by his second marriage. Friday morning they held religious services for him at Rehobeth church at 11 o'clock. Pastor A. W. Franklin officiated and the T. V. Kent Funeral Home of Wrightsville was in charge of the funeral arrangements in their usual efficient manner. Burial was in the Rehobeth church cemetery. Active pall bearers were Messrs. W. L. Anderson, B. A. Anderson, C. C. Anderson, Jesse Anderson, and L. S. Anderson. Additional Comments: James was born to Joseph Hayes Anderson and Mary Polly Tison/Tyson Anderson.
