                       John Bartow Brantley, Adrian
 SOPERTON, Ga., Feb. 16----Funeral services for John Bartow Brantley, 78, who 
died today at his home near Adrian, will be held 2:30pm Sunday at the 
residence.
 A native of Laurens County, he was a Baptist.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Foskey Brantley, Adrian; one son, 
V. R. Brantley, Warner Robins; two brothers, Lee of Dublin and Chap of 
Greenwood; two half brothers, J. C. Brantley of Macon and Blanton Brantley 
with the US Navy in San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Fred Holton, Adrian; 
four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one half sister, Mrs. Dessie 
Lynn, Macon; and his stepmother, Mrs. Jerry Brantley, Macon.
 Burial will be in the Foskey Cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
