Services were held Tuesday, April 17 in Mount Olive Nazarene Church with Rev. Cecil Beasley and Rev. Lester Johnson officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Honorary escort was Edgar Foskey, Ray Foskey, Jr. McDaniel, and Roland Attaway. Pallbearers were Homer Garnto, Lanier Garnto, Don Garnto, Irvin Garnto, Charles Clements, and James Foskey. A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Clements was a homemaker and a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Leroy Clements of Augusta, Donald Clements and John Clements, both of Bradenton, Fla.; a sister, Thelma Purvis of Norcross; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Additional Comments: She was born 12-15-1911. Her parents were William Wilkins "Wilt" Tapley and Arlie "Annie" Bush Tapley. Her husband was J.
