  Scott:Final rites for George E. Crabb Sr., 57, who died Friday at his home 
after a long illness, were held Saturday at three PM in the Chapel of Sammons 
Funeral Home, of Soperon. Burial was in the Silver Leaf Cemetary in Laurens 
County.
  Mr. Crabb is survived by his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Smith Crabb of Scott; four 
sons, George W. Crabb, J., Jerry L., James C., and David G. Crabb of Scott; a 
daughter, Mrs. Sharon Chesser, of Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Crawford, of 
Scott; and Mrs. Lizzie Mae Morgan, of Miami, Fl., a brother, Willie Crabb Sr. 
of Fayetteville, N.C., and two grandchildren.
